Cyber Safety in the Workplace

The modules in this Cyberhygiene and Cybersafety in the workplace are based on the successes and failures of thousands of companies over the past 40 years. Why do they get hacked? Why do people fall for social engineering scams? Why is it so difficult to understand how dangerous a data breach is? Why do people not like password managers or passkeys?
This course lays out some key factors about how cyberhygiene is supposed to work. It teaches personal skills like critical thinking – learning how to NOT click on a link, learning how to use secondary challents to confirm the validity of a document, understand how password management actually works, and in short, regain a conscious awareness of the dangers all around them. Most employees are too busy to check. They are under too much pressure, and this is what cybercriminals exploit. This course teaches students what to be aware of, why individual cybersecurity – even at home is so important – and how to change habits to ensure safe practices.
Our sessions are interactive, and wherever possible, used anonymized case studies drawn from the pre-course assessments. Participants are encouraged to work through and solve their challenges, and ongoing post-session support is always available at no charge. Available as a live online classrom event and private coaching.
